Day 1 – October 26, Arrive to Lima

Day to arrive Lima, your tour leader will meet you at the Lima airport and transfer to the hotel and rest.

Day 2 – October 27, Lima (B,D)

Free morning

After lunch you will take a tour to the historic city of Lima, visiting the Plaza Mayor, San Francisco church, Government Place and walk around, and in the evening we will go to the “Circuito Mágico del Agua” (Park of Fountains).

Tonight we will enjoy an orientation meeting and welcome dinner.

Day 3 – October 28, Lima (B,L)

At the morning you will visit the Larco museum to know more about the history of Peru.

For lunch you will have a good opportunity to enjoy the Peruvian cuisine at “Pescados Capitales” restaurant, one of the best place to try and enjoy a traditional “ceviche” and “pisco sour”.

Free afternoon in Miraflores.

Day 4 – October 29, Lima – Cusco (B,L)

Early flight Lima to Cusco, so you will have a chance to acclimate better, at 1:30 PM you are going to take a City tour of Cusco, visiting the Temple of the Sun, the Cathedral and the three Inca places located around Cusco.

Day 5 – October 30, Sacred Valley (L)

Tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, our visit includes the archaeological site and market of Pisaq, and Ollantaytambo.

We will enjoy a buffet lunch in one of the best restaurants in the Sacred Valley.

Night train to Machu Picchu, Check-in at the hotel and rest.

Day 6 – October 31, Machu Picchu (B,L)

Welcome to the amazing Machu Picchu, a private tour guided will take two hours approximately, after that you have the opportunity to explore this beautiful place by yourself.

We will take a break to have lunch at the Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge and rest and see one more time “Machu Picchu”.

Train back to Cusco.

Day 7 – November 1, Cusco

Free day in Cusco, a great opportunity to do activities of your personal interest.

We will have a briefing about the Ausangate trek

Day 8 – November 2, Ausangate trek (L,D)

This day we are going to take a bus to go Upis (3:30 hrs), a village close to Ausangate mountain, where our project is located.

We will know more about the Greenhouse project, the life of the people in the andes, their daily activities and job.

We will meet the students and teachers, they are going to show you the project and explain about it.

Day 9 – November 3, Ausangate trek (B,L,D)

Start the Ausangate trek early in the morning

Day 10 – November 4, Ausangate trek (B,L,D)

Flight to Lima and connect with your international flights
